A beautiful stately home set in 300 acres of carefully landscaped parkland, the building was the ancestral home of Sir Hugh and Lady Blackett, and has been transformed into a hotel in 1999. Matfen Hall offers 53 individually decorated guest rooms, and a golf estate which includes a 27-hole course, par 3 course and driving range in the surrounding grounds.
